Spectrum of colour.
 
This work explores the gradual progression of colour through the deliberate use of tints, tones and shadows. The colour transition from dark to light creates a depth, dimension and visual movement within the composition and highlights the harmonious relationship between the different values.
 
The horizontal movement is purposely interrupted with the inclusion of a darker focal point to draw the eye and viewers attention. 
 
Fibres is carefully selected for both its colour and textural quality.
 
Wrapped and woven in alpaca, cotton, merino, linen and a selection of other accent fibres.
Features acrylic paint and framed in oak.
